Welcome to my website. I discovered the art of felt making a few years ago, and was immediately hooked by the process of creating this fabulous material with its endless possibilities and marvellous tactile qualities and textures.
I use fleece from various breeds of sheep, which I hand dye, then blend and mix colours during the felting process. I find this as stimulating and creative as mixing paint on a palette. All the pieces I create are individually hand made. The inclusion of silk fibres, hand painted or dyed silk, and silk paper, add another dimension to my work.
